Crystal bowls are made from 99.992% pure crushed quartz. The larger bowls (16” and over) usually have a much deeper tone and a longer lasting sound and are ideal for heavy use and group entrainment. However they are not very portable and if you want to travel with your bowl you may want to consider purchasing a smaller bowl in the 10-12” range.
